📋 Description

• Manage project execution from proposal through the end of the warranty period, including FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), delivery and commissioning. • Apply project management best practices (per the Project Management Handbook and product-line specific instructions), with particular focus on handover checks, project gate reviews and project close-out. • Contribute to the unit’s operational performance by providing accurate forecasts for financial KPIs: revenue, cash flow and contribution margin. • Act as the primary customer contact for contract administration. • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations to the customer through clear feedback and consistent interaction (e.g., phone, e-mail), customer meetings and regular reviews. • Execute projects in collaboration with Engineering, Logistics, Procurement, Purchasing and Finance departments. • Provide monthly updates on action-plan progress as well as revenue/cash-flow forecasts. • Prepare and present project reviews. • Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of executed projects. • Manage resource planning and team workload to ensure a billable ratio of 90% or higher. • Lead EHS/safety activities and performance: ensure full compliance with GE rules and processes and ensure project teams (internal and subcontracted) are properly trained and qualified. • Support sales teams by sharing lessons learned (ROEs) that drive optimized project costs and delivery times. • Implement a contract/change management strategy in GEV’s interest. • Contribute to company growth by independently managing variation orders (change orders) for projects as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent. • Industry experience. • Prior experience in telecommunications/network or IP field operations. • At least 5 years’ project management experience in an EPC/turnkey business. • Ability to lead and motivate a project team of 3–6 people. • Fluent German and English are required. • Technical knowledge of IP-, MPLS- or SDG-protocols, industrial wireless technologies, protection and control technology, routers and switches, and powerline carrier is an advantage. • Willingness to travel: 20%.
