📋 Description
• Oversee the technical integrity, safety, and quality of our high-voltage AIS and GIS projects • Act as the heartbeat of our on-site operations, managing installation, maintenance, and commissioning • Ensure project quality and integrity, adhering to GE's standards • Manage the identification, reporting, and resolution of product nonconformities • Liaise with clients as the primary contact for product and installation issues • Provide regular project updates to the Project Manager • Lead field teams and promote a culture of safety on-site • Conduct site visits to assess equipment condition and report failures • Ensure accurate records and quality documentation are maintained • Supervise installation, repair, and maintenance of GE products • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations
🎯 Requirements
• Extensive hands-on experience in substation primary plant construction and installation techniques • Familiarity with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high-voltage AIS/GIS equipment • Ability to lead field operations, including task delegation with subcontractors • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and safety standards • Capability to manage quality assurance processes, including identifying and documenting nonconformities • Formal education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, ONC, HND, or equivalent) is nice to have
