📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end transformation strategy and execution from initial strategy approval through full Global Solutions Centre readiness • Own the phased transformation roadmap and ensure governance-stage milestones are met • Drive change-management adoption across all organisational levels • Lead GECC India's evolution from design and configuration support to full project engineering ownership • Develop and execute a Voice of Customer programme across all Grid Automation regions • Establish and manage a Sales and Operations Planning framework for workload forecasting and rolling annual regional commitments • Facilitate cross-regional collaboration forums, face-to-face workshops, and governance reviews • Define, implement, and track operational KPIs • Lead development and implementation of a Quality Framework across regions and GECC • Champion AI-powered process automation and digital engineering tools • Drive lean, standardised, and automated engineering processes • Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to attract and retain engineering talent • Develop capability assessments and ramp-up plans, including training academies, knowledge transfer, and induction programmes • Establish career pathways and progression frameworks • Coordinate with the GSW GDC Romania team for leadership coaching, knowledge exchange, and capability benchmarking • Design and evolve a scalable organisational model for GECC India • Develop a formal service catalogue with defined scope, change control, and delivery standards • Implement progress reporting for the Steering Committee and Executive Leadership • Identify and mitigate transformation risks • Provide leadership support to GECC India during the transformation phase

🎯 Requirements

• Formal education in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline provides a strong foundation; total experience and professional achievements emphasized • Major experience in engineering, technology, or operations environments, with significant experience in transformation, change management, or engineering and operations leadership roles • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder transformation programmes in a global engineering or technology environment • Proven ability to influence senior leaders, regional stakeholders, and cross-functional teams across multiple geographies and cultures • Solid understanding of Grid Automation, Power Systems, or Industrial Automation engineering domains • Demonstrated ability to define, build, and develop high-performing management teams • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including ability to build, track, and defend business cases in a global context • Experience leading geographically distributed, multicultural teams across multiple time zones • Preferred: Experience setting up or scaling a Global Delivery Centre (GDC) or Engineering Centre of Excellence (CoE) • Preferred: Familiarity with Grid Automation products and solutions • Preferred: Practical knowledge of Lean, Agile, and perform-while-you-transform operating principles • Preferred: Expertise in people coaching, mentoring, and train-the-trainer delivery models • Preferred: Experience in AI adoption, intelligent automation, or digital engineering tools in an industrial engineering context • Preferred: Understanding of engineering talent market dynamics in India • Preferred: Certifications in PMP, Change Management (Prosci or ACMP), or Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) • Preferred: Proficiency in KPI dashboards and operational governance tools
