📋 Description

• Interpret GEV manuals, specifications, bulletins, and work instructions to complete assigned tasks • Perform and ensure maintenance and fault finding of assets • Act as the site HVOA Delegate when required • Perform high-voltage switching operations according to site procedures • Apply electrical installation requirements • Perform work in accordance with SWMS, LOTO, EHS, and QA/QC policies and procedures • Identify and report errors, violations, incidents, and problems using GEV systems • Maintain knowledge of Registered Electrical Contractor responsibilities • Supervise electrical installation and maintenance work when required • Maintain reports using GEV software tools and databases • Submit engineering enquiries to resolve technical issues • Collaborate with Management, Engineering, Sourcing, and Service Teams • Make quality conformance or non-conformance decisions after tasks and inspections • Participate in an on-call roster for weekends and nights when required • Follow EHS policies and cooperate with investigations and audits • Travel to Silverton Wind Farm to provide operational support, technical leadership, troubleshooting, and turbine availability optimization

🎯 Requirements

• Must have Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen working rights at time of application • Australian-recognised qualifications • Registered Workers License Electrical (A-Grade or equivalent) • Five years minimum experience in the onshore wind sector or similar heavy industry highly regarded • Be nominated as Electrical Supervisor under the Registered Electrical Contractor licence • Hold the position of Nominated Qualified Supervisor - Electrical for the company • Understanding of basic AC/DC electrical circuits and circuit analysis for 24VDC, 166VDC, 120VAC, 230VAC, 400VAC, 575VAC, and 690VAC • Previous experience in high-voltage switching and operations • Current High Voltage operating certificate or ability to gain one • Proficiency in fault finding electrical and hydraulic equipment • Intermediate computer skills • Ability to climb wind turbines and perform physically demanding tasks at heights • Experience working in remote locations and autonomously • Willingness to travel more than 65% of the year • Desired: HRWL including Dogging, Rigging (Advanced), Forklift, and EWP • Desired: CSE GWO Advanced • Availability to monitor, read, and respond to contacts outside normal working hours
