📋 Description

• Interpret GEV manuals, specifications, bulletins and work instructions to complete assigned tasks • Perform maintenance and fault finding of electrical, hydraulic and other assets • Act as the site HVOA Delegate and perform high-voltage switching operations when required • Supervise electrical installation and maintenance work • Ensure work complies with SWMS, LOTO, EHS and QA/QC policies and procedures • Identify and report errors, violations, incidents and problems using GEV systems • Maintain reports in GEV software management tools and databases • Submit engineering enquiries to resolve technical issues • Collaborate with Management, Engineering, Sourcing and Service Teams • Make quality conformance or non-conformance decisions after tasks and inspections • Participate in weekend and night on-call rosters when required • Follow EHS policies and cooperate with investigations and audits • Travel to and provide operational support at Silverton Wind Farm

🎯 Requirements

• Must have Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen status and appropriate working rights at application • Hold Australian-recognised qualifications • Hold a registered Workers License Electrical (A-Grade or equivalent) as a minimum • Five years minimum of experience in the onshore wind sector or similar heavy industry highly regarded • Be nominated as Electrical Supervisor under the Registered Electrical Contractor licence • Hold the position of Nominated Qualified Supervisor - Electrical for the company • Understand AC/DC electrical circuits and perform troubleshooting and circuit analysis across specified voltages • Have previous experience in high-voltage switching and operations • Hold a current High Voltage operating certificate or have the ability to gain one • Be proficient in fault finding electrical and hydraulic equipment • Intermediate computer skills • Ability to climb wind turbines and perform physically demanding tasks at heights • Experience working in remote locations and autonomously • Willingness to travel more than 65% of the year • Ability to work across different time zones and respond outside normal working hours when expected • Desired: HRWL including Dogging, Rigging (Advanced), Forklift and EWP • Desired: CSE GWO Advanced
