📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of sales technology solutions supporting equity derivatives and structured products distribution • Architect and own a scalable order management system (OMS) for equity derivatives across initiation, pre-trade checks, execution, booking, settlement, and post-trade management • Architect and build integrations with SIMON, Luma, Evooq, OTCX, Halo, and CAIS • Drive adoption of digital distribution channels and self-service tooling for internal and external clients • Manage Bloomberg structured note contribution workflows, including secondary market price publication via BSYM/BBGID and Bloomberg terminal integration • Design and own SQL relational database schemas and MongoDB document store models • Evaluate, onboard, and manage third-party technology vendor relationships • Collaborate with compliance, legal, and risk teams to meet regulatory requirements such as MiFID II • Define and enforce coding standards, architecture patterns, and best practices • Mentor junior engineers and business analysts • Monitor system performance, manage incident response, and own production-system reliability

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in capital markets or financial services • Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and Java • Ability to own full-stack delivery across Python and Java • Deep understanding of equity derivatives, including structured notes, autocallables, barrier options, and equity-linked products • Experience with structured product distribution platforms such as SIMON, Luma, Evooq, OTCX, Halo, and/or CAIS • Experience managing Bloomberg structured note contribution workflows, secondary market price publication, BSYM/BBGID identifiers, and Bloomberg terminal integration • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs • Experience with FIX or other financial messaging protocols • Strong proficiency with relational and document-oriented databases • Understanding of trade lifecycle, order management, and structured product workflows • Track record of leading technical delivery in an Agile environment • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills • Preferred: cloud infrastructure, containerized deployment, additional structured product platforms, other asset classes, CI/CD, DevOps, data engineering/ETL, FIX in an OMS context, and regulatory frameworks beyond MiFID II
