📋 Description

• Take overall responsibility for planning, management and successful implementation of SAP EWM initiatives from a Logistics perspective • Define functional objectives, requirements, priorities and success criteria with clients • Steer internal IT, external SAP consultants and service providers • Lead SAP EWM implementation, roll-out, optimization and applicable SAP WM-to-SAP EWM migrations • Define warehouse and intralogistics process requirements and ensure consistent implementation • Coordinate and lead functional key users, process owners and client-side EWM experts • Manage external SAP implementation partners, developers and technical service providers from a functional perspective • Define acceptance criteria and monitor delivery quality • Manage functional testing, including test design, test cases, UAT and sign-off • Plan and support business-side cutover, go-live and hypercare • Establish project governance, decision-making processes, escalation paths, status reporting, issue management and change management • Drive change communication, training and employee enablement • Ensure a capable and sustainable business organization after project completion

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in management consulting or relevant industry roles focused on Logistics, Intralogistics or Supply Chain • Experience ideally involving warehouse, distribution or production logistics • University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or comparable qualification • Strong understanding of warehouse and intralogistics processes, including goods receipt, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, inventory and returns • Understanding of interfaces with Production, Sales and Quality Management • Experience leading or playing a key role in digitalization or SAP projects, ideally SAP EWM and/or SAP S/4HANA • Practical understanding of SAP EWM and related logistics modules such as MM, SD, PP, QM and, where applicable, TM • Expertise in requirements management, process design, test management, change management and stakeholder management • Experience managing external SAP implementation partners and interdisciplinary teams • Ability to provide clear functional leadership to IT teams and consultants • Structured, solution-oriented and dependable working style • Assertiveness, diplomatic skills and hands-on mindset • Very good German and good English skills, written and spoken
