📋 Description

• Lead the development and implementation of HR processes, policies, and procedures. • Manage and mentor the HR team to ensure excellence in core HR functions. • Align HR strategies and initiatives with organizational goals and objectives. • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team. • Manage comprehensive HR communications both internally and externally. • Troubleshoot complex HR issues and implement effective solutions. • Streamline and oversee the onboarding process for new hires. • Collaborate with executives and department heads on strategic HR planning and initiatives. • Drive talent acquisition strategies for key roles within the organization. • Ensure an efficient and effective onboarding process for new hires is in place. • Collaborate with executives and department heads on strategic HR planning and initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of HR experience • Professional designation in HR (CHRP or equivalent qualification) • Proficient understanding of BC Employment Standards Act • Intermediate understanding of BC Employment Law • Experience working in Indigenous Economic Development is an asset. • Professional communicator • Strong leadership and teamwork skills. • Ability to deal with employee concerns and questions with a calm and professional demeanor. • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities • Capable of managing HRIS systems • Expert level computer skills – Microsoft Office, Google for Business • Ability to learn new software programs efficiently and implement efficient procedures utilizing them.
