âą Senior technical role responsible for the design, implementation, and management of electrical systems across the organization's facilities portfolio âą Ensures reliable, efficient, and safe electrical infrastructure while supporting business operations and growth objectives âą Develops long-term electrical infrastructure strategies aligned with organizational goals âą Leads design and specification of electrical systems for new construction, renovations, and major upgrades including power distribution, emergency power, lighting systems, and renewable energy integration âą Conducts capacity planning and load analysis to support current and future facility needs âą Oversees preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, and distribution equipment âą Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements (NEC, NFPA, OSHA, local codes) âą Initiates and leads engineering audits including on-site visits âą Coordinates with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders âą Identifies and implements energy efficiency initiatives and cost reduction opportunities âą Monitors energy consumption patterns and recommends improvements âą Provides expert troubleshooting for complex electrical issues âą Performs root cause analysis for system failures and implements corrective actions
âą Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field âą Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred âą 7-10+ years of experience in facilities electrical engineering or related field âą Deep knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and utility systems âą Experience with high and low voltage power distribution systems âą Proficiency with electrical design software and building management systems âą Experience with critical facilities (data centers, healthcare, manufacturing) preferred
