📋 Description

• Lead a team of OSP Licensing professionals and set vision/direction for the OSP Licensing & Permitting team. • Direct day-to-day activities of OSP licensing and permitting Coordinator(s) for all facets of the licensing and permitting process. • Ensure timely submittal of utility applications and payments and manage utility joint use licensing process for fiber and conduit installations. • Work closely with subcontractors on licensing matters and direct utility coordination on projects. • Assist in processing attachment applications and support Pole Attachment Agreement establishment and renewals. • Maintain yearly pole attachment workflow and work with GIS staff to improve facility records. • Maintain Right-Of-Way permits and other various permits required for construction and assist with annual billing reconciliation when required. • Produce KPI and Production reports at required intervals; hire, train, onboard, and develop staff, creating training documents and process plans. • Serve as final point of escalation for Licensing issues and represent GoNetspeed in professional and in-trade organizations. • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent plus one to three years of specialized training. • Prior experience in pole application/project management • 3-5 years of telephone plant operations experience required • 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred • Knowledge of telecommunications construction and maintenance requirements and regulations • Knowledge of telecommunications equipment, networks and processes including fiber optics and copper networks • Knowledge of management principles and practices • Skill in operating various office equipment such as personal computers, various software programs, and telephone systems • Skill in oral and written communication • Skill in reading and interpreting technical documents and forms, including purchase orders, invoices, expense reports, time reports, material requisition forms, work orders, trouble tickets, and service orders • Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments • Ability to pay close attention to detail • Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand • Ability to create a team environment and sustain employee morale • Ability to support and defend management decisions • Ability to perform job duties, even if it means working beyond a 40-hour work week
