📋 Description

• Serve as a key driver of GoodPower’s fundraising strategy, focusing on philanthropies, individuals, and corporate partners • Identify and cultivate new prospects • Generate new leads and manage a portfolio of high-value funders • Conduct solicitation and stewardship activities to secure 7- and 8-figure investments • Build lasting partnerships with institutional funders, high net worth donors, VCs, and corporate partners • Ensure timely reporting and stewardship to strengthen long-term partnerships for increased investment

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in frontline fundraising, major gift solicitation, and donor relations • Experience in climate, renewable energy, or related issue areas required • Proven success in cultivating, soliciting, and closing $1M+ gifts, especially from new prospective donors • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; able to inspire confidence and trust • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex issues into compelling donor language • Strategic thinker with experience aligning program goals with funder priorities • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously • Ability and specific desire to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, challenging environment • Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce, Google Suite, Slack and other tech-forward collaboration platforms.
