📋 Description

• Manage and develop a team of backend and frontend engineers • Provide regular feedback and support career growth through career conversations • Collaborate with go-to-market teams to support customers and prospects through their observability collection journey • Partner with product and engineering leadership to integrate Fleet Management, the Kubernetes Monitoring Helm Chart, and the Instrumentation Hub into Grafana Cloud’s end-to-end user experience • Guide projects from ideation through planning, execution, and post-launch • Foster psychological safety, innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement • Contribute across team boundaries and partner with other functions to solve customer problems

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in observability, especially OpenTelemetry, or building a central control plane managing fleets of collectors is a strong advantage • Comfortable working with autonomous engineering teams • Keeps up-to-date with technical trends and understands engineering team challenges • Comfortable collaborating across time zones and cultures in a fully remote environment • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, align stakeholders, and elevate team performance • Deep customer focus • Solid understanding of distributed systems principles, including scalability, fault tolerance, consistency, and observability • Comfortable using AI-assisted tooling; practical experience integrating AI-powered tools into a team workflow is ideal • Experience managing backend and frontend engineers
