📋 Description

• Drive engineering-wide technical and non-technical initiatives that improve team performance and organizational growth • Support proactive engineers and create conditions for ideas to surface, be heard, and move forward • Own track-level ceremonies, kick-offs, cross-team syncs, and retrospectives while preserving team autonomy • Partner with Product Managers to deliver intuitive, reliable, and well-built user experiences • Build and maintain a culture of ownership, trust, and continuous improvement • Set performance expectations and address concerns early and constructively • Hire, onboard, mentor, and grow engineers at multiple experience levels

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years managing engineering teams in a product company (not agency or outsourcing) • Experience building or scaling zero-to-one product and engineering initiatives • Familiarity with structured onboarding and growth frameworks (career ladders, development plans, learning paths) • Ability to proactively identify problems, drive initiatives end-to-end, and make decisions even with incomplete information • Strong ability to prioritize, execute on high-impact initiatives, and communicate when bandwidth is limited • Communicates openly and transparently, provides full context, owns mistakes, and prioritizes correctness over personal preference • Makes high-quality decisions grounded in logic, research, multiple perspectives, and data • Ability to work closely with Product Managers to deliver intuitive, performant, and reliable user experiences • Advanced English (C1+) and fluent Russian
