📋 Description

• Develop and maintain the Internal Engineering Platform (IEP) • Manage and develop CI/CD platforms • Automate build, release, and deployment processes • Develop application configuration management tooling • Automate software updates • Manage artefacts • Work with application development and security teams to support their requirements • Participate in an on-call rotation supporting Platform tooling • Set and contribute to the squad roadmap • Maintain, improve, extend, and gracefully sunset platform systems • Design, compare, and choose appropriate technical solutions • Develop next-generation CI/CD systems, automation runner infrastructure, artefact management systems, security automation, and AI-backed tooling • Own the full software lifecycle from design documentation and testing through deployment and decommissioning • Respond to incidents and integrate existing systems

🎯 Requirements

• Engineering/software development experience within a Platform group delivering services to internal engineering teams • Experience working in a cloud environment • Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform/Crossplane • Familiarity with Kubernetes administration • Experience or interest in implementing, integrating, and maintaining observability systems and processes • Comfortable working in a remote-first company • Experience operating code • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker • Ability to work with Infrastructure as Code • Flexibility to use Go and other tools such as shell scripts • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation • Collaborative, friendly, kind, and respectful working style
