📋 Description

• Influence the product roadmap and personal career objectives • Collaborate with the team to deliver, iterate, and improve new features • Drive projects from ideation through operations and customer delivery • Contribute to open-source projects beyond the team’s direct scope • Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems • Own system reliability, performance, and availability • Participate in on-call rotations and own operated services • Mentor team members and participate in design discussions • Develop expertise in Grafana Cloud, customers, and a large distributed-system codebase • Build distributed systems for Prometheus-based alert ingestion, delivery, and alert evaluation • Unify alerting setup and delivery across Grafana and Prometheus-based alerts

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience with at least one programming language; familiarity with Go, Python, Java, C++, Rust or similar • Experience delivering projects from requirements gathering and ideation through product launch • Experience developing software that runs in the Cloud or experience with systems engineering • Experience writing clean, robust, performant, maintainable software • Independent attitude and good communication skills • Customer-focused, self-starting, action-oriented approach • Ability to analyze, design, build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, gather feedback, and iterate • Ability to collaborate in a fully remote setup • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations • Willingness to mentor and support team members
