📋 Description

• Completes ICD-10 coding of hospice episodes based on medical history, physician input and up-to-date ICD-10 coding guidelines. • Maintains current knowledge of, and causes, compliance with all federal, state and local regulations. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Maintains current knowledge of, and causes, compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma required. • College work in business or related field preferred. • ICD-10 Coding certified or pending certification. • Minimum of two (2) years office or related experience. • Healthcare environment preferred. • Demonstrated knowledge of the appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the geriatric population. • Excellent interpersonal skills including excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong proficiency in computer and software skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Working knowledge of personnel management, record keeping, and office administration. • Proven ability to set and achieve objectives and to find increasingly efficient ways to perform tasks. • Completes work with a high level of accuracy and within organization time frames. • Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision and capable of working independently. • Adheres to organization infection control and safety policies.
