📋 Description

• Manage and monitor production deployments on GCP • Maintain reliability, uptime, and performance across distributed services • Support and troubleshoot workloads running on Google Cloud Run • Debug backend, infrastructure, and deployment issues • Maintain and improve Python-based production services • Troubleshoot failures across highly concurrent workloads and large container fleets • Work with Kubernetes and containerized production environments • Respond independently to operational incidents and technical support requests • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on service improvements • Document recurring issues, fixes, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, backend engineering, or production systems • Strong production experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly Cloud Run • Advanced Python backend development experience, including debugging and maintaining production services • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads • Strong knowledge of SQL databases and distributed systems • Experience operating highly concurrent production workloads • Commitment of 8 hours per day with 6–8 hours of PST overlap
