📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP solutions using ABAP, including custom reports, workflows, enhancements, and integrations. • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable SAP technical solutions, with a strong focus on SAP SD processes. • Design and maintain reliable SAP data extraction and integration pipelines using ODP, CDS Views, and OData, and leverage Data Sphere as an endpoint or intermediary. • Assist SAP data integration with the broader data platform, including SAP Datasphere and cloud-based data environments. • Partner with SAP functional consultants, data engineering teams, business stakeholders, and external SAP partners to deliver solutions and resolve complex issues. • Take ownership of SAP technical problems, document solutions, and help build in-house SAP capabilities while reducing reliance on external partners.

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered. • 4+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience. • Strong knowledge of ABAP programming and SAP development practices. • Experience developing and assisting with SAP customizations in an enterprise environment. • Good knowledge of at least one SAP functional module; SAP SD experience is strongly preferred. • Demonstrated ability to work with functional consultants and translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Experience with SAP data extraction and integration mechanisms such as ODP, CDS Views, and OData. • Proficiency of SAP ERP data structures, tables, and relationships. • Experience working with SAP interfaces and integrations with external systems. • Exposure to SAP Datasphere or similar SAP data/integration technologies is highly desirable. • Strong SQL skills and good understanding of data engineering concepts. • Experience with Python and/or cloud data platforms is a plus. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate complex SAP issues. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams. • Experience with SAP S/4HANA RISE. • Experience with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Data Services (BODS), or SAP BTP. • Experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI. • Experience building data pipelines into cloud data warehouses or data lakes. • Experience with AWS, Redshift, Airflow, Spark/PySpark, or similar data engineering technologies. • SAP ABAP or relevant SAP certifications. • Experience working with external SAP implementation or managed-service partners. • Experience mentoring engineers or taking technical ownership of SAP projects.
