📋 Description

• Propose and build solutions covering different disciplines of the development lifecycle, meeting non-functional requirements and optimizing costs • Participate in technical discussions and implement architectures according to the team’s priorities • Create ADRs and design docs for the team’s solutions • Ensure active monitoring of the production environment, focusing on critical user journeys • Track, monitor, evaluate and share metrics and trade-offs of technical solutions • Work on troubleshooting and root-cause resolution for incidents and outages • Document post-mortems and execute action plans to address root causes • Support the technical growth of colleagues through pairing, code review and feedback • Share technical knowledge and connect with developers outside the team • Develop reusable artifacts relevant to the squad/tribe • Participate in product discussions and contribute to requirement analysis, refinement and documentation • Prioritize activities that maximize team impact and help colleagues with blockers • Take part in planning and refinement, turning ideas into actionable tasks • Define solutions and participate in epic refinement • Write security-focused code • Increase the scope of tested and automated application coverage • Influence and support developers to improve code quality and reliability

🎯 Requirements

• Back-end development experience, preferably with JavaScript and/or TypeScript (Node.js) • Front-end development experience, preferably with JavaScript and/or React • Ability to work autonomously in a cross-functional, multilingual and collaborative environment • Strong experience designing and implementing automated testing strategies (unit, e2e and regression) • Solid experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB and DocumentDB • Experience with CI/CD, GitFlow, GitHub, GitHub Actions and Sonar • Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous architectures • Experience with Incident Management and observability/monitoring tools such as New Relic and Crashlytics • Knowledge or experience with AWS infrastructure and fundamentals, including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, RDS, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, Amazon ElastiCache for Redis and AWS Glue • Experience with agile methodologies such as Kanban • Documentation culture for processes, post-mortems, APIs and ADRs • Nice to have: experience mentoring less-senior peers and sharing knowledge • Nice to have: experience with VWO, Optimizely and Firebase A/B Testing • Nice to have: knowledge of hexagonal architecture or Clean Architecture • Nice to have: experience developing and using AI in daily work
