📋 Description

• Create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged “must-have insights” content • Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership and offer compelling, actionable approaches to client needs • Develop in-depth analysis to identify root causes of client barriers and reframe thinking to drive strategy • Establish Insights positions across a team of analysts • Bring independent insights to Gartner leaders to evolve research agendas • Research, analyze, and predict market trends and shifts • Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice through virtual or face-to-face interactions • Create and deliver presentation materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings • Provide sales support and serve as the voice of the market • Provide timely, high-quality peer review of content • Represent Gartner insights, methodology, and strategy as an industry expert • Participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions • Collaborate with peers in the Insights community • Identify research process improvements and develop new processes • Mentor and coach more junior team members • Help clients engage regularly with Gartner insights and interactions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred • 10+ years of relevant field or industry experience • Deep expertise in application security technologies, methodologies, and tools • Experience with SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA • Knowledge and experience with Checkmarx, Snyk, GitLab, and GitHub • Hands-on experience securing AI-driven application development, including agentic coding and AI-generated code • Experience with AI-driven vulnerability discovery, prioritization, and remediation • Knowledge of emerging practices for securing AI-enabled applications, including risks of AI agents, MCPs, and APIs • Understanding of threat modeling, penetration testing, and vulnerability management in AI-enabled environments • Executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines • Excellent research and writing ability • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills • Ability to analyze and synthesize data and apply patterns and frameworks • Ability to explain complex concepts concisely and simply • Subject matter expertise and comfort presenting at large- and small-scale speaking engagements • Strong business and financial acumen • Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global team • Learning agility and ability to navigate highly matrixed environments • Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% where applicable
