📋 Description

• Analyze, design, develop, test and maintain in-house software applications on IBM System i platform • Collaborate with users and Business Analysts to develop technical specifications • Create binding directories, binder source, and service programs • Troubleshoot application systems errors with users and business partners • Identify and pursue new technologies and provide insights to management • Lead department projects for process improvements • Mentor and train less experienced employees

🎯 Requirements

• High school degree preferred • Minimum of five years total "hands-on" RPG programming and development experience • Expert knowledge and fluency with all aspects and versions of RPG and CL on the IBMi • Knowledge of DB2 native commands, SQL, data centric architecture, design and performance tuning • General knowledge of Websmart, HTML, javascript, CSS, jQuery, and Bootstrap • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment • Ethical team player with a commitment to company values
