📋 Description

• Provide critical advisory and strategic planning services to recovery clients and lead a large team. • Serve as a strong disaster recovery expert, with demonstrated experience supporting local governments through long-term recoveries from natural disasters. • Act as a hands-on project manager overseeing complex disaster recovery. • Leverage understanding of the FEMA Public Assistance (PA) Program - Permanent Work (Categories C-G). • Serve as a FEMA PA Program subject matter expert and answer policy-related questions in a timely manner. • Oversee a multi-disciplinary team supporting all aspects of recovery, delegating tasks, assessing staffing needs, and developing methodologies.

🎯 Requirements

• Prior support for local governments impacted by natural disasters through multiple federal disaster grant programs from the early onset of a disaster through grant obligation and closeout. • A minimum of four years (4) of experience in the FEMA PA Program, including, Permanent Work (Categories C-G). • Demonstrated experience managing complex and dynamic projects. • High competency in written communication, including the ability to create nuanced/policy complex recommendation documents. • Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to present verbally to high level stakeholders. • Previous experience managing workload for large multi-disciplinary teams with varying levels of experience (i.e., junior level associates through senior subject matter experts). • Strong proficiency with MS Office products, databases, and other software / technology platforms. • A bachelor's degree.
