📋 Description

• Architect and build a data platform on AWS that meets the needs of internal customers • Identify and define the best solutions to improve the data platform architecture • Ensure observability, quality, and reliability of data for internal and external stakeholders • Automate processes and pipeline tests for ingesting new sources, integrated with CI/CD • Execute the data platform adoption plan together with the people responsible for data governance • Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to enable an integrated data flow • Develop and optimize scalable, resilient data solutions for a lakehouse data platform • Troubleshoot complex issues, propose continuous improvements to pipelines and architectures, and take part in strategic decisions • Serve as the primary technical point of contact, focused on delivering value to data consumers

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of modern data architectures (data lake, lakehouse [Delta/Iceberg], analytical modeling and event-driven modeling) • Experience participating in at least one data platform deployment • Experience implementing data quality, observability, and data governance • Knowledge of security, governance, and compliance applied to data platforms • Advanced English: written and spoken • Interest in diversity, inclusion, and accessibility • Curiosity • Collaborative mindset • Structured and action-oriented approach • Comfortable working in ambiguous and early-stage environments • Focus on impact, not just output • Proactive attitude • Ability to communicate in both technical and non-technical situations • Analytical problem-solving skills for complex challenges • Agile mindset with focus on incremental delivery and continuous improvement • Adaptability and willingness to learn new things
