📋 Description
• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of Altera Digital Health’s global network infrastructure • Drive network reliability, scalability, and performance across on-premises and multi-cloud environments • Lead and mentor multiple teams of Network Operations engineers and team leads • Build leadership bench strength through coaching, talent development, and succession planning • Define and execute global network operations strategy aligned with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives • Partner with executive leadership, architects, and product teams to develop long-term network roadmaps • Lead large-scale transformation initiatives including automation, cloud networking, and modernization programs • Oversee design, implementation, and operations of enterprise network infrastructure • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of network services across hybrid and multi-cloud environments • Drive adoption of SD-WAN, VXLAN, BGP EVPN, and network automation frameworks • Oversee major incident management and establish root cause analysis governance • Implement proactive monitoring and observability frameworks • Manage strategic relationships with service providers, vendors, and partners • Collaborate with Security, Cloud, and Application teams to deliver integrated solutions • Own and manage the network operations budget, capacity planning, and resource allocation • Champion network automation and DevOps practices • Establish standardized processes, templates, and governance models for network operations • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal security policies • Partner with security teams to implement network security controls and risk mitigation strategies
🎯 Requirements
• 15+ years of experience in Network Engineering/Operations with at least 5+ years in leadership or senior management roles • Proven experience managing large, distributed teams in a global or outsourcing environment • Strong expertise in routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, and VPNs • Deep knowledge of VXLAN, BGP EVPN, QoS, PVST/RPVST, and multi-vendor environments • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Azure Networking, and Azure Firewalls • Experience in network design, architecture, and multi-cloud networking solutions • Strong understanding of network security, authentication protocols, and packet analysis using Wireshark • Proven ability to lead large-scale transformations including automation and cloud adoption • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills • Strong project management capabilities including planning, execution, and delivery • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable • Submit a resume, cover letter, and relevant certifications through the careers portal
