HÁWAR. help is a Germany-based human rights organization founded in the aftermath of the genocide against the Yazidi community. It implements development and education programs (including digital and environmental education and the SCORING GIRLS* empowerment-through-sport project) in Iraq, Syria and Germany, conducts advocacy and political work on issues such as the freedom movement in Iran and rights in Afghanistan, and produces awareness-raising initiatives including documentaries, campaigns, events and publications. Projects are designed and delivered as multiethnic, multireligious interventions focused on human rights, gender justice, refugee support, and community rebuilding and memory work.
