📋 Description

• This is a B2B Contractor position that is based in Poland; remote but must reside in Poland. • Join HealthJoy's engineering org to harden, scale, and evolve what’s already live; applied AI with guardrails; high-throughput data pipelines; reliable systems • HealthJoy builds an AI SaaS healthcare co-pilot with real-time recommendations. • We’ve raised $100M+ and operate globally; mix of microservices, cloud patterns, CI/CD, Kubernetes, AWS. • Responsibilities: architect decisions, design features, improve quality and velocity, scale to growing user base. • Requirements: 5+ years building scalable apps in Python/Go/Java/Scala; software design principles; AI-assisted tool workflows; AWS/Kubernetes; Postgres; event-driven/microservices; strong learning mindset; team collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping scalable applications in Python, Go, Java, or Scala • A good understanding of software design principles and industry practices (for example: loose coupling, programming to interfaces). Taking into consideration test-driven approaches and observability. • Experience with and knowledge of best practices for implementation of AI-assisted tools for process optimization and improved development workflow. • Familiarity with AI Lean methodologies, including the application of AI to identify and reduce waste in software development processes. • Track record of developing on backend libraries such as Asyncio, Aiohttp, Flask, SQLAlchemy, or equivalent • Experience with relational databases (we use Postgres) • Previous experience with data processing and manipulation workflows and implementation is a plus • Experience working in an event-driven architecture and the utilization of microservices where applicable. • At ease in the AWS ecosystem, working with a cluster architecture (we utilize Kubernetes) • Experience participating in the architecture and design of new and existing products • An ability and eagerness to constantly learn and share knowledge with others • Insatiable curiosity to learn new software principles, technologies, and tools • Passionate about collaborating with developers and testers; distributed team experience will be a plus
