📋 Description

• Own the full employee lifecycle for the internal team, including hiring strategy, onboarding, retention, offboarding, and exit interviews • Lead and develop the Recruiter, including priorities and capacity planning • Run contractual and labor law setup across 9 countries, including contracts, addendums, B2B structures, and independent compliance decisions • Own the monthly payroll cycle across CZ, SK, and PL with external payroll partners • Redesign non-scalable HR processes and automate them using AI, Make, or similar tools • Build and track people metrics from internal data • Support leadership and expansion into new markets and setups on people-related matters • Handle and resolve employee issues, difficult conversations, conflicts, exits, and support needs

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of HR experience, including 2+ years owning the HR function in an international company of 50 to 200 people • Hands-on experience with employment and B2B contracts, addendums, onboarding and offboarding administration, and recruitment • Independent labor law judgment in at least one CEE jurisdiction (CZ, SK or PL), including contract drafting and routine legal decisions without waiting for counsel • Proven experience building automations in Make or similar tools • Experience with an ATS such as Workable • Active daily use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for drafting, analysis and reporting • Experience building or rebuilding HR processes end-to-end and owning the result • Ability to handle difficult conversations, support employees, and challenge managers when necessary • English at C1 level, written and spoken, including leadership and board settings • Native or fluent Czech, Slovak, Polish, Hungarian, or Romanian • Experience in a scale-up environment with incomplete processes, changing priorities, limited budgets, and no team • Experience in a remote company running B2C and B2B models side by side (nice to have) • Payroll or contractor setup experience in HU, RO, or other CEE markets beyond CZ/SK/PL (nice to have) • Experience supporting physical locations alongside a fully remote team (nice to have)
