📋 Description

• Support complex strategy and commercialisation projects across multiple sectors, primarily fusion and nuclear fission • Develop technology roadmaps and market entry strategies for cleantech innovation, particularly in nuclear energy and fusion • Engage with global clients and stakeholders, from government departments to startup founders • Guide team members, project manage delivery, and ensure client outcomes are met • Support clients through their commercialisation journey, from ideation to go to market • Represent Helixos through thought leadership and partnership building across the cleantech ecosystem • Lead strategy engagements end to end, from shaping project scope through to delivering final insights • Take ownership of workstreams and conduct strategic analysis • Translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights • Mentor junior consultants and collaborate across the Helixos team on commercialisation, communications, and technical advisory work

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a Strategy Consultant advising clients on market entry, R&D road maps, and commercialisation of new technologies • A technical background in engineering, physics, or applied sciences, ideally in energy or adjacent sectors, or demonstrable experience guiding strategies within these sectors • Experience creating technology road maps and leading market entry strategies within energy, engineering, or nuclear sectors • The ability to zoom out to macro trends and zoom in to identify actionable commercial pathways • Comfort working in a fast paced, remote team across multiple time zones • A genuine interest in sustainability, energy, and the long term future of the planet • Demonstrable communication skills, including clear written outputs • Proven project management experience, balancing client needs with internal workflows • Awareness of the cultural and policy landscape in technology and startups, with instinct for where markets are heading • Bonus: Experience in the nuclear/fusion sector • Bonus: Clear understanding of what it takes to turn technical innovation into viable, scalable solutions in complex, regulated markets • Bonus: Business development experience or an established network in the energy innovation ecosystem • Ability to perform the role in compliance with applicable nuclear and strategic export control requirements in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia
