📋 Description

• Prepare annual financial statements and tax returns for a growing portfolio of SMSF customers • Work closely with the Senior SMSF Accountant • Support the Customer Success team with SMSF industry expertise • Help deliver an outstanding customer experience • Onboard new SMSF customers • Support Stake’s continued growth • Process SMSF accounting transactions and related customer activities • Prepare and review workpapers • Investigate and resolve reconciliation differences and data discrepancies • Update workflow systems and maintain accurate file notes • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Stake

🎯 Requirements

• Three to five years’ experience in SMSF administration • Experience using Class accounting software • Excellent communication skills and willingness to liaise with customers and internal stakeholders • Experience processing bank reconciliations, term deposits, investment reconciliations, and member balances • Experience processing contribution allocations, pension payments, rollovers, and benefit payments • Ability to prepare and review workpapers for completeness and accuracy • Ability to investigate and resolve reconciliation differences and data discrepancies • Experience processing corporate actions, including dividends, dividend reinvestment plans, capital returns, mergers, demergers, and share restructures • Experience handling complex transactions including limited recourse borrowing arrangements, cryptocurrency, foreign investments, derivatives, and property investments • Ability to update workflow systems and maintain accurate file notes • Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams • Master’s degree in commerce or an MBA preferred
