📋 Description

• Design and implement innovative features for marine-industry products • Develop, test, and maintain .NET applications • Enhance Vue.js front-end functionality and intuitive UI/UX • Optimize PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases • Collaborate with product managers, QA, and fellow developers • Ensure high-quality solutions that meet business needs • Perform code reviews • Troubleshoot full-stack application issues • Support fellow developers • Uphold software development standards • Communicate synchronously with teams in Canada, maintaining at least four hours of overlap with British Columbia core working hours • Work with company leadership to grow skills and career

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field • 3+ years of software development experience • Proficiency in C#, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue, HTML5, and CSS/Less • Strong experience in .NET development, including C# and .NET Core/.NET 8 • Front-end expertise with Vue.js (Vue 2 or Vue 3) • Database management experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills across full-stack applications • Good communication skills for interacting with clients and PMs • Effective verbal and written communication • Ability to understand complex code and systems with support from senior engineers and contribute back • Ability to communicate usability and technical concepts and proactively raise questions or concerns • Interest in learning business context and customer needs • Ability to work well within a team and contribute effectively • Flexibility to adapt to different ways of working, including agile processes • Ability to work independently on modules and complete tasks with high quality • Experience using Slack and JIRA
