📋 Description

• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations for the monthly financial close • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting • Own accounts payable and vendor payment processing, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment runs • Assist with customer billing and accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections follow-up, and cash application • Partner with Finance leaders on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning initiatives • Support day-to-day accounting operations while maintaining strong internal controls • Identify opportunities to automate accounting workflows and improve operational efficiency through technology, AI, and process improvements • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure accurate financial data and reporting • Support external audits, compliance activities, and special projects • Report directly to the Controller and help scale the finance function

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • 3-5+ years of finance or accounting experience • CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification is strongly preferred • Public accounting experience, preferably with a Big Four or national/regional public accounting firm, is highly valued • Experience in a SaaS, software, or high-growth technology company is preferred • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles • Experience supporting month-end close and preparing financial statements • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Exceptional attention to detail • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and leveraging AI and automation to improve finance processes • Experience with QuickBooks Online, Ramp, Salesforce, Maxio, or similar cloud-based financial systems is a plus
