📋 Description

• Process daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately and on time • Prepare and post journal entries with proper support and attention to detail • Complete bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to help keep financial records clean • Support month-end close activities by completing assigned schedules, entries, and follow-ups • Identify, investigate, and help resolve discrepancies in transactions, balances, and supporting documentation • Assist the U.S. finance team with financial reporting support and routine accounting analysis • Communicate clearly in English with U.S. stakeholders and in Spanish with Mexican stakeholders • Maintain organized records and follow established accounting processes within the client’s remote desktop environment • Proactively flag issues, missing information, or process gaps before they delay accounting timelines • Cross-train on related accounting tasks to support a lean finance team and reduce bottlenecks

🎯 Requirements

• **Must-Have:** • 2 to 3 years of accounting experience, ideally with a strong transactional accounting foundation • Professional working proficiency in both Spanish and English • Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations • Exposure to month-end close activities and the ability to complete assigned tasks independently • Clear understanding of U.S. GAAP principles • Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, and reconciliation work • **Nice to Have:** • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or a similar desktop ERP system • Prior experience supporting a U.S.-based finance or accounting team • Dual-monitor home office setup • Experience working through remote desktop software • Long-term contractor experience with a strong record of reliability and low turnover
