📋 Description

• Identify automation opportunities across operations teams targeting repetitive manual workflows • Build and deploy RPA bots across internal and client-facing portals • Own the full automation lifecycle, including stakeholder communication, SOP creation, bot development, and post-production monitoring • Build projects from scratch with limited prior documentation and manage ambiguity • Communicate with operations specialists, client portal teams, and tool vendors • Coordinate feature requests, bug reports, and issue resolution • Provide root cause analysis, actions taken, and proposed next steps in stakeholder updates • Monitor dashboards and bot performance daily after deployment • Flag post-production issues proactively and support management-level reporting with analytics tools • Create and maintain SOPs documenting automation workflows, bot logic, configurations, and vendor communications • Report to a Product Manager and an Engineering Manager • Work alongside an existing automation engineer and partner across operations, client portal, and vendor teams

🎯 Requirements

• Proven RPA development experience and ability to build and deploy bots independently • Experience with web crawler-based or similar RPA platforms, or adjacent tool experience with ability to ramp up quickly • Strong stakeholder communication skills across multiple audiences • Ability to provide root cause analysis, trends, actions taken, and next steps in updates • Ability to manage the full automation lifecycle independently • Proactive post-production monitoring and issue escalation • Comfort working in a high-coordination, multi-stakeholder environment • Strong remote work discipline • Availability during US Eastern Time business hours • Experience with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, Blue Prism, or similar tools preferred • Product-led or engineering-led startup experience preferred • Experience managing vendor feature requests and bug reports preferred • Experience working alongside other engineers or contractors in a remote setup preferred • Exposure to healthcare, finance, or insurance industries preferred • Updated resume required for application • Short Loom video (1 to 2 minutes) introducing yourself, presenting an end-to-end RPA project, and describing a post-deployment issue and its resolution required; only candidates submitting a Loom video advance
