📋 Description

• You'll contribute to the execution of the service strategy and service growth by focusing on delivering timely, high-quality, cost-effective service offerings, solutions, and engineering projects for customers. • Execute Service work in accordance with Hitachi Energy standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. • Deliver quality customer service to satisfy our prestigious customers. • Identify new service opportunities for Hitachi Energy. • Play a key role within a team of knowledgeable and experienced engineers/technicians undertaking and coordinating service activities on site. • Responsible for Transformer service activities, including installation and commissioning, refurbishments, device replacements, routine maintenance, inspections, and identifying problems to assist with providing analysis for recommendations. • Coordinate all delivered parts, materials, and components for each project and optimise the use of your resources to meet delivery and performance targets as effectively as possible. • Lead jobs from start to finish under the direction of the project manager, to meet clients’ requirements. • Maintain project site documentation and checklists, prepare reports, and help to resolve any issues on site. • Provide feedback to assist with identifying and recommending effective new solutions to help meet business and/or customer needs. • Apply all safety rules and follow safe practices, and keep environmental responsibilities in mind. • Assess and highlight hazards and implement actions to ensure the safety of both people and equipment.

🎯 Requirements

• Electrical Engineering-related HNC, apprenticeship scheme or suitable industry experience. • Experience within the Transformers or the power sector (installation/service/maintenance) and/or a broad knowledge of power engineering plant and equipment, i.e. Transformers. • Proven experience with Mechanical installations, Switchgear, Cabling/wiring installation, Oil handling/processing/sampling, device function checks and power equipment testing instruments, Omicron/Megger etc. • Experience in leading a team/management of subcontractors. • Able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings. • Suitable qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, CCNSG, though training will be provided. • Full driving licence.
