📋 Description

• Join Hitachi Energy's field service team, where you'll support transformer technology and grid reliability across the power industry. • Solve technical challenges in electrical substations nationwide while building strong customer relationships. • Work closely with experienced senior technicians, gaining hands-on training and real-world exposure to transformer service, maintenance, and diagnostic work. • Conduct equipment inspections and diagnostic assessments to support preventive maintenance efforts. • Assist in servicing and repairing transformer systems using established processes and tools. • Collaborate with engineering teams, senior field staff, and customers to support maintenance strategies. • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and internal procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED plus 2+ years of professional work experience in technical or mechanical fields. • Relevant military training or experience is considered equivalent and strongly encouraged • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to travel up to 85% nationwide • Physical capability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform demanding tasks for extended periods • Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions for up to 12 hours daily • Class A CDL preferred for operating specialized service vehicles • Welding certification or experience preferred for enhanced field capabilities • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
