📋 Description

• Assess application architecture and provide security guidance • Implement security controls in CI/CD pipelines and application environments • Investigate suspected security issues • Build AI agents and apply AI solutions to automate and scale security checks • Serve as HostGator LATAM’s focal point for penetration testing, DAST, SAST, SCA, and other initiatives led by Newfold Digital’s global security team • Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with security standards • Deliver presentations and collaborate with development team members to promote security best practices • Prioritize identified security vulnerabilities, engage the responsible teams, track remediation deadlines, and ensure end-to-end resolution

🎯 Requirements

• Experience applying Security by Design and Security by Default principles • Experience with security tools for AWS and OCI (Oracle Cloud) environments • Knowledge of code analysis tools such as SourceClear, Checkmarx, SonarQube, and Veracode, as well as Jenkins • Programming experience with technologies such as Go, PHP, React, and JavaScript • Experience or a strong interest in using AI for security (LLMs, agents, and automation) • Strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills when working with technical teams, even without direct authority over them • Advanced English proficiency • Preferred: knowledge of ISO 27034 • Preferred: knowledge of common application security vulnerabilities and participation in communities and projects such as OWASP • Preferred: previous experience building AI agents or AI-based security tools • Preferred: degree in Systems Analysis, Information Systems, or a related field • Preferred: coursework focused on application security • Preferred: CSSLP certification
