• analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions • collects, compiles, verifies, and analyzes financial information • Develops and maintains staffing models in Excel for CAPI • Gains understanding of business operation for accurate inventory forecasting • Provides staffing/inventory variance analysis to operators • Engages in root cause analysis to determine explanations for trend variances • Connects operations and finance to achieve common goals
• Bachelor's degree ideally in finance, accounting or similar field • 3 - 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role • Intermediate or advanced level user with Microsoft Excel • Strong analytic skills with attention to details • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Previous health insurance industry experience working in a Finance/Accounting department (preferred) • Evaluation and development of financial models (preferred) • Managerial or Cost Accounting experience (preferred) • Experience with Access, SQL, and multi-dimensional databases (preferred)
