📋 Description

• Create design concepts for client websites and e-commerce stores, primarily WordPress and WooCommerce • Prepare clean, developer-ready files and handovers with responsive states, components, spacing, and typography rules • Create on-brand creatives for Facebook Ads and Google Ads, including static, motion-lite, and testing variants • Design email marketing campaigns and flows, content marketing graphics, and social assets • Translate data, analysis, heatmaps, analytics, tracking findings, and test results into conversion-focused design decisions • Understand client visual brand identities and advise Account Managers on design ideas, improvements, and optimizations • Communicate design ideas in writing, verbally, and visually to team members and clients • Receive and implement feedback and design changes • Assist Account Managers with Figma tasks and professional reports • Collaborate with designers, developers, marketers, analysts, Account Managers, clients, and the wider team • Design marketing materials for Digitalist's own marketing efforts • Continuously improve design-driven results for assigned clients • Attend client meetings alongside Account Managers • Participate in training, skill-building sessions, Design Team group calls, and industry best-practice research • Report directly to the Design Lead and Agency Director

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working as a Designer in a professional role or similar experience in a design role at another agency • In-depth understanding and proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite • Demonstrable experience designing websites and online stores that were actually built and launched, ideally on WordPress or WooCommerce • Demonstrable experience designing paid social and search creative, and email marketing designs • Established design portfolio showcasing elevated, effective, and on-brand designs for a variety of clients, stores, and niches • Experience with Elementor or a comparable page builder, basic HTML and CSS literacy, an email platform such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp, motion or short-form video editing, or previous agency experience are considered a plus • Refined aesthetic sense and strong typography skills • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work on video editing tasks, mostly for UGC content • Must be highly accountable, responsive, and able to meet deadlines • Availability and responsiveness during Central Europe standard office hours, Monday to Friday • Stable internet connection and a laptop or PC, with ability to attend virtual video conferences • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; must be fluent in English • Slovenian, Croatian, or Serbian is a plus, but not a requirement • Comfortable working autonomously and managing time in a remote environment
