📋 Description

• Code outpatient encounters with precision, excluding emergency department and professional billing charts • Interpret clinical documentation to ensure accurate code assignment and compliance with payer guidelines • Maintain productivity benchmarks (average 7 charts/hour) and quality scores above 95% • Collaborate with auditing teams for feedback and continuous improvement • Stay current with coding updates and regulatory changes

🎯 Requirements

• Active AHIMA or AAPC Certification (CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA) required. • Minimum of 2 years of outpatient hospital coding experience • Proficiency with EPIC and 3M 360 platforms. • Strong understanding of outpatient coding guidelines and medical terminology • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and excellent communication.
