📋 Description

• Design and implement REST backend APIs and services for B2B e-commerce and satellite applications • Help decouple the SAP Commerce monolith and legacy systems by extracting business domains into Java/Spring Boot microservices • Model domains such as catalog, pricing, orders, quotations, and ERP integrations in collaboration with architects and business teams • Develop integrations with SAP Commerce, SAP ERPs, API Gateway, and other enterprise systems • Implement authentication and authorization using Spring Security, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Keycloak • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of automated unit and integration tests using appropriate frameworks and Testcontainers • Participate in the squad’s Agile ceremonies, including refinements, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives • Contribute to technical decisions and the continuous evolution of the architecture • Conduct code reviews and create technical documentation in Portuguese and English • Share knowledge and promote software engineering best practices • Support architectural decisions regarding platform evolution, observability, scalability, security, and system integration • Rebuild the backend layer of a global cloud-based B2B e-commerce platform, ensuring availability, scalability, performance, enterprise integration, quality, security, and observability

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java in enterprise applications • Strong experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Web, Spring Data, Spring Validation, Spring Actuator, and Spring Security • Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs, including resource modeling, pagination, error handling, and versioning • Experience with microservices architecture • Experience with asynchronous communication based on messaging and events is a plus • Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL • Experience with non-relational databases, preferably MongoDB • Experience integrating systems in complex enterprise environments, including SAP ERPs, legacy systems, and enterprise microservices • Knowledge of HTTP clients and integrations using Spring Cloud OpenFeign or an equivalent technology • Solid knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Keycloak, and Spring Security • Experience with JUnit, Mockito or equivalent frameworks, Spring Boot Test, and Testcontainers • Hands-on experience with integration testing using PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI • Experience with Docker and running applications in containerized environments • Knowledge of observability and monitoring, including Grafana, distributed logging, application metrics, basic performance analysis, and troubleshooting • Senior-level profile, capable of serving as a backend technical reference and supporting architectural decisions • Strong communication skills to understand business needs, translate demands into technical requirements, and explain technical decisions • Advanced English proficiency for reading and writing technical documentation and participating in international meetings • Ability to work in an agile, collaborative, and multidisciplinary environment • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues • Commitment to quality, governance, documentation, and solution sustainability • Willingness to share knowledge and support the team’s technical growth • Nice to have: experience with SAP Commerce/Hybris, B2B e-commerce platforms, event-driven architecture, Kafka, RabbitMQ, DDD, distributed observability, resilience patterns, and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
