📋 Description

• Own and manage the release calendar and cadence across multiple programmes and platforms • Plan, schedule, and orchestrate releases end-to-end, including feature releases, patches, and hotfixes • Coordinate cross-functional release activities across engineering, infrastructure, and security teams • Define and enforce release quality gates, ensuring compliance with governance, regulatory, and security requirements • Manage deployment processes across development, staging, UAT, and production environments • Monitor release performance, drive post-release reviews, and implement continuous improvement initiatives • Identify and mitigate release risks, ensuring stability and reliability across all deployments • Act as the primary point of contact for release communications, stakeholder updates, and escalation management

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in release management, DevOps, or software engineering operations within multi-team environments • Experience managing platform or shared service releases across multiple concurrent workstreams • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and release orchestration tooling • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP) and containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes) • Experience working within regulated or governance-driven environments, ensuring compliance and audit readiness • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across technical teams without direct authority • Excellent organisational, communication, and risk management skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
