📋 Description

• Leverage actuarial expertise to conduct and present analytics on multiple fronts • Evaluate prospective business development opportunities • Conduct forecasting analyses • Support review of patient attribution algorithms • Assess financial and clinical value delivered to current and potential members and payor partners • Develop tools and internal capabilities to measure the performance of value-based / shared-savings arrangements • Collaborate with the Business Development team to evaluate new business opportunities • Work closely with the Healthcare Economics team to demonstrate client value achieved with Imagine • Analyze profitability by duration, acuity, and resource allocation to inform strategic recommendations to senior leadership • Monitor performance against forecasts, analyzing drivers of variances from revenue, cost, and membership

🎯 Requirements

• Associate or working towards Associate of the Society of Actuaries with 3+ completed exams • Bachelor’s degree • Minimum of 2-4 years of actuarial experience within a healthcare, managed care, or consulting organization • Medicaid experience preferred • Experience with value-based reimbursement strategies and affordability initiatives preferred • SQL and/or SAS skills strongly preferred • Experience working with CMS T-MSIS data preferred • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment • Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex, varied problems in a dynamic environment • Strong communicator (both written and verbal) with an ability to break down complex and technical concepts in an easy to understand way • Strong organizational, documentation and problem-solving skills • Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills
