📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, automation systems, and datasets for cloud cost visibility, attribution, and insights • Design and implement scalable data models and ingestion frameworks for high-volume telemetry and infrastructure usage data • Develop specialized tooling for cost-aware decision-making across Product, Engineering, and Finance • Optimize data systems for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency through query tuning, storage strategies, and compute optimization • Partner with Engineering and Finance teams on cost-optimization initiatives and usage-based insights • Ensure data quality, validation, auditing, and troubleshooting across end-to-end production data workflows • Provide granular cost visibility, accurate spend attribution, and data-driven cloud infrastructure insights

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Data Engineering background with proven experience building and maintaining end-to-end ELT/ETL pipelines in cloud environments • Strong SQL and Python skills • Direct experience with Snowflake • Experience with orchestration tools such as dbt, Airflow, or Dagster • Deep familiarity with AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, and Amazon Aurora • Solid experience with CI/CD, version control, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via Terraform, and REST API integrations • Extensive data modeling and large-scale data processing experience • Fluent English for daily communication • Availability to overlap several hours with US-based teams aligned to the Central Time zone • Scala proficiency is a plus • FinOps Foundation Certification (Practitioner or Engineer level) is a plus • Experience with cloud cost optimization, tagging strategies, cost monitoring, or data platform/shared infrastructure engineering is a plus • Familiarity with AWS and GCP and experience using Datadog is a plus
