📋 Description

• Contract law (IT & AI): Drafting, reviewing and negotiating national and international IT agreements (e.g. SaaS, cloud, licensing and development agreements, EVB‑IT, service and partner agreements) • Legal support for projects involving artificial intelligence (e.g. LLMs, training data, prompt design, liability) • Development and legal assessment of AI policies, terms of use and internal governance • Support on regulatory developments in the context of the EU AI Act, Data Act, DSA, DMA • Data protection & compliance: Advice on GDPR, BDSG, TTDSG and international data protection law • Preparation and review of data processing agreements (DPAs), joint controller agreements and consent processes • Conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), risk analyses and transfer impact assessments (TIAs) • Development and implementation of data protection policies, employee training • Support in case of data breaches, incident response and cooperation with supervisory authorities • Creation and maintenance of records of processing activities and internal compliance structures (e.g. supported by legal tech)

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer (fully qualified) • Solid knowledge of IT and contract law, ideally with a focus on software/cloud/tech projects • At least 2 years of professional experience in data protection law (e.g. law firm, corporate, association) • Ideally practical experience with: EU data protection law (GDPR, ePrivacy, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs)) • Artificial intelligence / LLMs (legal assessment of training data, bias, transparency) • IT projects (e.g. agile contract drafting, technical documentation, interface with legal tech) • Confident presence, ability to work independently, and commercial awareness • Strong written and spoken German and English skills
