• Serve as the key point of contact for show teams on allocated events • Set, forecast, and achieve operational show budgets • Manage successful operational and technical delivery of multiple physical and digital events, features, and related tasks • Create and implement show project plans, ensuring timely completion of operational tasks • Ensure events comply with company health and safety, security, and sustainability guidelines • Implement internal and external Service Level Agreements • Oversee production and delivery of the show exhibitor manual • Coordinate with suppliers on briefs, designs, feature production, and signage • Manage registration areas and the overall welcome experience with suppliers and show teams • Compile post-event reports and KPI analyses • Monitor key contractors with Procurement and identify remedial action when needed • Manage, mentor, and develop line reports and other EMEA Operations team members • Set and monitor performance objectives and identify training needs • Collaborate with colleagues to improve operational planning and management • Complete Informa compliance and HSS Operating Model requirements • Collaborate with Health & Safety and Sustainability teams to improve supplier compliance and event sustainability • Eventually take full lead on allocated operational streams involving high-level Ministry communication
• Educated to degree level or equivalent • Strong verbal and written skills in Arabic and English • 5 years of events or exhibition industry experience or similar • Independently and successfully managed operations on multiple large events to a consistently high standard • Experience managing, supporting, and developing multiple line reports simultaneously • Good working knowledge of the exhibition industry and venues • Strong working relationships with official contractors • Effective communication with Operations team members and Director-level individuals • Familiarity with good procurement practices • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to inspire and motivate others • Ability to anticipate problems and create contingency plans • Ability to work to tight deadlines with attention to detail under pressure • Willingness and ability to travel and work across differing time zones, especially within EMEA • Proven knowledge of exhibition H&S guidelines and implementation • Computer literacy and proficiency in commonly used business and project management software • IOSH Managing Safety Certificate or equivalent as a minimum • Prior large budget management skills are a plus • No relocation or sponsorship support provided
