📋 Description

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the data governance framework • Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and guidelines • Manage data quality initiatives, including rule definition, monitoring, metrics, and remediation plans • Support the cataloging, classification, and documentation of data assets • Manage and maintain the data catalog and data lineage for key assets • Collaborate on the structuring of data domains and the Data Mesh model • Engage with business teams to understand their needs, map domains, and translate requirements into governance actions • Engage and support the enablement of data owners and stewards, promoting data best practices and accountability • Work closely with data engineering teams to implement policies across platforms • Support the structuring, implementation, and evolution of the company’s data governance program, including data quality, cataloging, policies, and data culture initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with cloud data platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Knowledge of Dataplex and/or Databricks (Unity Catalog) for governance, cataloging, and access control • Strong knowledge of data quality, including dimensions, rules, monitoring, and metrics • Experience with data catalogs and data lineage, including documentation, traceability, and metadata management • Knowledge of data governance policies and standards, including privacy, LGPD, access management, and data lifecycle management • Understanding of the Data Mesh concept and data/business domains • Ability to engage with business teams and translate their needs into governance requirements • Experience engaging and enabling data owners and stewards • Certifications in GCP, Databricks, or data governance (e.g., DAMA/CDMP) — a plus • Experience with frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK — a plus • Experience with Data Contracts and Data Products — a plus • Experience in multicloud environments — a plus • Curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams • Proactivity and strong engagement • Ownership mindset and results-oriented approach
