📋 Description

• Lead the design, documentation, and implementation of new modern, scalable data architectures (Lakehouse) using GCP and Databricks • Lead and ensure the success of complex data migration projects from on-premises environments to the cloud or between cloud platforms • Define data ingestion, processing, and consumption standards, ensuring high performance and infrastructure cost optimization (FinOps) • Ensure best practices in dimensional, relational, and NoSQL data modeling, as well as medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) • Help define Data Governance, data quality, lineage, and security guidelines (LGPD) • Serve as the primary technical authority for Engineering and Data Science teams, supporting complex decisions • Promote a data-driven culture and mentor junior professionals, fostering the continuous improvement of the Data Chapter • Collaborate with Livelo stakeholders and business leaders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions • Design, evolve, and ensure the sustainability of modern, highly scalable cloud data architectures

🎯 Requirements

• More than 5 years of hands-on, essential experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer • More than 3 years of solid, essential experience using Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and cluster optimization • Proven experience in structured and unstructured data migration projects and designing new architectures from the ground up • Strong previous experience working as a Data Architect or Lead/Principal Data Engineer • Proficiency in PySpark, Python, and advanced SQL for large-scale data processing • Experience with Lakehouse architecture and implementing CI/CD pipelines for data (DataOps) • In-depth knowledge of data modeling concepts and Data Mesh principles • Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and lead architectural discussions • Official GCP certifications are a plus: Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect • Official Databricks certifications are a plus: Certified Data Engineer Professional or Solutions Architect • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform • Experience in the loyalty, e-commerce, payments, or financial services sectors
