📋 Description

• Work on the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of systems and applications. • Contribute to the technical quality, performance, and innovation of digital products. • Design and implement complex solutions across multiple systems, applying best practices in architecture, coding, and public cloud. • Remove obstacles, support critical decisions, and ensure quality through testing, observability, and continuous monitoring. • Lead end-to-end deliveries, interact with external teams, and respond quickly to incidents.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong expertise in COBOL for development, maintenance, and modernization of programs in a mainframe environment. • Solid knowledge of DB2, including data modeling, advanced SQL queries, performance tuning, and stored procedures. • Experience with CICS for developing and supporting online transactions in critical systems. • Experience with JCL (Job Control Language) for executing, automating, and troubleshooting jobs in production. • Ability to analyze, fix, and optimize legacy programs to ensure performance and operational continuity. • Experience integrating mainframe systems with other platforms, including APIs and middleware. • Familiarity with version control tools (Endevor, Changeman, or Git in modern integrations). • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) applied to sustainment and evolution of legacy systems. • Skill in analyzing technical and business requirements and translating demands into effective mainframe solutions. • Strong production troubleshooting skills, identifying and resolving incidents quickly to ensure system stability.
