📋 Description

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking, and financial reporting. • Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including the executive team, Board of Directors, investors, customers, vendors, and auditors. • Preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and all applicable accounting standards. • Manage revenue and ensure timely billing and invoicing of all revenue and proper accounting treatment per ASC 606. • Lead the audit process with external auditors (currently PwC), including preparation of deliverables. • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. • Develop processes throughout the accounting department to improve efficiency, reduce data entry time/errors, and overall improve the timeliness of accounting functions. • Prepare technical accounting memorandums as needed, as well as continue to improve and strengthen the internal control environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field • CPA is required. • Minimum of 5 years of public and corporate accounting experience • Big 4 public accounting is preferred • Highly proficient in U.S. GAAP and technical accounting • 2 years of experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software
