📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain microservices in the payments domain • Develop intuitive UIs for complex payment processes • Ensure code extensibility and readability by applying Clean Code principles • Identify technical issues early through tracking, alerts, and monitoring • Monitor the processing of payment instructions, incoming settlements, and webhook calls • Support users and Customer Support with technical issues • Develop and maintain automated tests across relevant testing levels • Help operate platform services on Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS in collaboration with DevOps • Work cross-functionally, share knowledge through pair programming, and develop solutions together with the team • Challenge existing code and clearly separate responsibilities to create maintainable solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in software development • Strong Java skills • Ideally, experience with Spring Boot and other technologies in the tech stack • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases • Experience with React, TypeScript, and Material UI • Interest in digital payments and financial processes • Experience with external APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous event processing is a plus • Experience in payments, fintech, or integration environments is preferred • Experience with payment service providers such as Adyen or Stripe is helpful, but not required • Interest in Domain-Driven Design, microservices, and hexagonal architecture; practical experience is preferred • Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Gradle, and Kubernetes • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS • Willingness and ability to use AI-assisted development tools • Fluent German (at least B2 level) • Good command of English
